That was fast! The NBA is back already?
So are we jumping in night one? Why not?! Consider tonight a warm up.
One of my least favorite sports, probably because I was short in 8th grade and couldn’t touch the net yet, but I did have the fire Reebok Pumps, so there’s that.
First, a couple of props worth a look:
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: O3.5 turnovers
He’s a machine. He averaged 5.5 per game in his first four w/ Washington last year, and gave up 20 in his first three preseason games with the LakeShow.
JORDAN POOLE: O2.5 3PT
Poole takes the majority of his shots beyond the arc. Looney and Green will be low scorers tonight and Poole will step up. Poole cleared this prop in his last five games last year ranging 18-33 minutes on the floor. Lets get it.
Back to DFS.
The guys in the inner circle from the ol’ discord know we did well last season, but you gotta be discipline. Don’t tilt and choose those tourney’s wisely.
A couple of suggestions.
· For NBA, I tend to hit the cash/double up options.
· The larger pool single entry double ups hit 4 out of 5 days usually.
· Look for tourneys that pay out 22+% of the entry pool if you go GPP.
Tonight is like I said.. just a warm up. I usually like to let the season settle in a bit, just like MLB. Lets get some stats under our belt first.
Going off the little we know, here’s some thoughts on tonight’s opener.
FIRST PICKS AT RECESS:
James Harden ($9300): Killer price with Kyrie out. Usually up and over 10K so you know he’ll be way popular. He’ll put up some #’s but will by highly owned. Grade: A
Khris Middleton ($7200): Way underpriced and projected at I suspect he’ll hit value and soar over his projection in this opener spot. Grade: A
ON THE CHEAP:
Jordan Poole ($4800): Solid preseason and projected over 31 DK points on night one. He should get some minutes and go NBA Jam with Curry.
Nemanja Bjelica ($3400): Word on the street is that Green will be limited. Kuminga and Wiseman are out, so tag in Bjelica.
Here’s what I’m rolling with (pending last minute news)
Don’t be this guy. Hit that subscribe.
The lineup cashed on a double up and would have been much better if Holiday didn't go out at the half
How did you do on NBA DFS?
