NBA for Wednesday, 11/10
For a slate yesterday I didn’t care for, we did well. Thanks for the nudge to throw something out there. We needed just three quarters to hit our prop bet, and swept the cash game slates for both main and the night squad.
Recap:
Prop: Bobby Portis OVER 7.5 rebounds (Finished w/ 10) WINNER
DFS: WINNER
For today:
PROPS:
Karl-Anthony Towns: OVER 2.5 three-pointers
Nine games into the season, Towns has only made less than three once (2). He’s averaging 3.11 per game on 6.66 average attempts, and Golden State allows the 2nd highest three-point attempt rate (46.1) and the 3rd most attempts per game overall (40.5)
Cade Cunningham: OVER 15.5 points
After sitting out five of the first six games with the ankle injury, he’s back on track now, and has played 29, 32, 30 minutes in his last three games, while scoring 17 and 18 in his last two. This is against MIL, PHI, and BKN too. Tonight him and the Pistons get the 1-9 Houston Rockets, who consistently play fast paced games. Cunningham should get opportunities and I could see him cruise past this number.
DFS For tonight:
Top plays:
Kevin Durant ($10900): Spendy, but good matchup that will lead to 45-50 fantasy points by night’s end. Him and Harden are probably sixes, but I lean KD.
Will Barton ($6300): Like everyone out after that Morris/Jokic debacle, and this will bump Barton’s stock up tonight. He’s repped will recently on DK and tonight with Jokic out, he should be good for 40+.
On the cheap:
JaMychal Green ($3200): Slated to start tonight with Jokic out. Will probably be seen in 50%+ lineups with the price tag and upside. Join the club.
Ricky Rubio ($5200): Sexton out, Rubio in. Last time we had this scenario I believe Rubio put up 60 fantasy points.
As always:
· For NBA, I tend to hit the cash/double up options.
· The larger pool single entry double ups hit 4 out of 5 days usually.
· Look for tourneys that pay out 22+% of the entry pool if you go GPP.
