NBA for Thursday, 1/6
NBA for Thursday, 1/6
I mean….I’d take a Jets/Jags Thursday night battle tonight, you?!
We still got 4 games tonight over in organized keep-away, so lets just dive right in!
Yesterday, our one prop crossed the line as Jokic did his thing for us.
WINNER: Nikola Jokic: Over 40.5 PTS+RB
DFS barely hit the cash line with the example lineup. All four players recommended ended on fire, crushing their projections.
Top plays were: Sobonis & Middleton
On the cheap were: Wood & Sykes
For today… some props i’m looking at:
PROPS:
Jonas Valanciunas: O11.5 rebounds -130
Averaging 12 on the year, he crushed this number last time out against Golden State even with it being a blowout. Last time out he had 16 in just over 30 minutes. Expect more time on the floor tonight with a similar results to their last meeting hitting 15 or so.
Marcus Smart: O1.5 three-pointers +140
The Knicks allow an attempt rate of 43%, putting them sixth highest in the league. Couple that with Smart and his recent trend, taking four or more shots in four of his last five games, while hitting two or more in three of his last four.
DFS For tonight:
Top plays:
Devin Booker ($8700): Projected to hit 40-45 fpts tonight, and is on a little run as of late. The game has the highest total on the board tonight with Phoenix projected at 115. Booker will get his share of that.
Chris Paul ($7300): See what I wrote above. Paul will be right there as well and at $7300 on a four game slate, i’m in.
On the cheap:
Marcus Morris Sr. ($5600): Zubac and George are slated to be out. Morris will have an uptick in minutes. No secret here though. Watch for him to be in half the lineups out there with this four game slate. (I don’t hate his over 1.5 three’s prop either)
Jordan Poole ($5800): Curry and Green off the court tonight so Poole will step up. He about a fantasy point per minute with those two off the court. I could see 30+ fpts for us.
As always:
· For NBA, I tend to hit the cash/double up options.
· The larger pool single entry double ups hit 4 out of 5 days usually.
· Look for tourneys that pay out 22+% of the entry pool if you go GPP.
Here’s my main. Adjust away!
..and for the 3 game slate:
